A Circle

Road at Saint-Remy with a Female Figure

Surely your heart travels not only from the ghostly to the holy, but it makes a circle. And we know only half of it.

  1. I love Rilke's frequent imagery for the limits of our understanding. He seems to fight it at some times, celebrate it at others.
Certainly, it defines our world and our place within it.

"Everything is blooming most recklessly; if it were voices instead of colors, there would be an unbelievable shrieking into the heart of the night."

~ Rainer Maria Rilke

Go ahead, bloom recklessly!
